To help me reproduce a problem quickly, please include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened. If an export failed, it also helps to know the quality you picked and roughly how long the clips were.
Common questions
- What do I need to run it? An iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
- How many photos or videos can I combine? Between two and four, in any mix — two photos, two clips, or a photo alongside a clip all work.
- Do the videos play at the same time? Yes. Every clip in the frame plays together and loops over the longest one, so the collage stays in step.
- Can I trim a clip? Yes. Each clip gets its own filmstrip with drag handles and a live playhead, so you can land on the exact moment you want.
- What happens to the audio? You can set the volume for each clip or mute it. Whatever you leave unmuted is mixed down into a single track.
- What can I export? A video at 720p, 1080p, or 4K, or a still image. Finished collages go to your photo library and open straight into the share sheet.
- Can I change a collage after saving it? Yes. Saved collages stay editable — re-trim a clip, swap a photo, rename it, or duplicate it to try the same media in another layout.
- Can I resize the cells? Yes. Drag the dividers to resize any cell, and pan or pinch to reframe the media inside it.
Privacy
Mosaic runs entirely on your device and makes no network requests. The privacy policy linked from the app page explains exactly what stays on your phone.
